Log Trux was another song born at the Goongerah school… From the school we could all see the log trucks coming down the Bonang Road with loads of old trees from our most precious forests, every day, day after day…It was most disheartening. We believe that we all are the caretakers of Mother Earth, and that our natural environment is the important responsibility of us all to nurture, protect and respect. Our forests are our water catchments, native wildlife habitat, the Earth’s natural sponge, carbon sinks, climate moderators, rain makers, a place of refuge, beauty and harmony for all sentient beings to peacefully enjoy… Our collective heritage, our sustainable futures…
